Because it tastes good, is healthy, and EASY to make.
I started this post AND cooked this many times a couple months ago so all i remember is that it is normal fried rice with either 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder or grated 1-2″ fresh tumeric root. Optional components include anything you put into “normal” fried rice, because this is just fried rice with turmeric powder :D There is a dish you can get from some Chinese restaurants called “Singaporean fried rice” which is turmeric fried with bbq pork, shrimp, egg, sweet bell peppers and some other stuff i can’t think of right now.
Here it is with egg and some of those frozen organic green beans i got from costco. I cooked with those green beans ALL the time because it was Too convenient.
Here i made a Taiwanese style egg breakfast “burrito” put some turmeric fried rice on top and then stir fried a bunch of shishito peppers to eat with it :) I Love the way stir fried shishito peppers taste with a good amount of salt!
I like to fry things with egg A LOT!
