I celebrated summer solstice by going to the beach before the sunset and here is what i wrote about it:
Today at the beach i learned that ocean water up the nose doesn’t hurt as much as tap or chlorinated pool water. Sone #waves are too big for me to dive through. And i need to learn how to swim among the waves so i don’t get pushed under and float around in darkness wondering how i’m supposed to get air. Yes i was worried and “scared”. I survived and learned … Allegorical to feelings of panic when i feel like the challenges in life are overwhelming me. But when i hit the bottom, i realize that i can push against it and swim back above the waves.
Forever thankful for the universe for all that it had given me. I offer gratitude for this life and the lessons i have learned on my soul’s journey.
also, my sinus started to hurt the day after inhaling seawater and it hurt for 1 whole day.
Here is a photo of one of the bonfires at the beach that day. It is not mine but the people who made it were nice enough to let me take a photo of it, and i walked around and found another group of people who were there for summer solstice and would let me join their bonfire. The Universe provides when i graciously ask, of this i am eternally thankful.
